MBTI Explained

MBTI = Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (based on work by Jung/Keirsey/Myers-Briggs)
a system for classifying the 4 basic dimensions of personality...

what energizes you and where your attention is most directed:
E = Extraverted (external world of people and things, act before you think)
I = Introverted (internal world of ideas and understanding, think before you act)

how you take in the world and gather information:
S = Sensing (each of the five senses, see detailed parts before the big picture)
N = Intuition (overall impression, see the big picture before detailed parts)

how you evaluate information and make decisions:
T = Thinking (based on logical principles and convincing, care about it because meaningful)
F = Feeling (based on personal values and moving, meaningful because you care about it)

what your natural lifestyle and daily routine is:
J = Judging (planned and organized, more decisive than curious)
P = Perceiving (spontaneous and open, more curious than decisive)

overall, ESTJ people are probably the most objective and INFP people are probably the most subjective...everyone else is somewhere in between...
